East Side Enterprise Center Projects:

Services offered through the East Side Enterprise Center include meeting and event space for community organizations, leased warehouse space for food system businesses, access to a commercial kitchen at Kitchen on the Bluff an affiliated project located on 3rd Street. Business training and consulting services for East Side residents and business owners are provided through ESEC in a partnership between Latino Economic Development Center, African Economic Development Solutions, and Asian Economic Development Association. These services are funded in large part by a contract with the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED).

As a result of ESEC development activities, significant financial investments have been made on the East Side in the past four years. Latino Economic Development Center has provided financing for 15 East Side clients totaling $1.5 million. This financing has leveraged an additional $3 million in public and private financing to support business development on the East Side during that period.
