Description
This in-person event at Metro State University will connect AA and NHPI community leaders with federal and local resources and run from 1:00-4:45PM CT. There will be the opportunity to network and light refreshments at the end of the event for all from 4:45-6:00PM in the Great Hall at Metro State. Please let us know you will join us by RSVP at Eventbrite. Attendees can look forward to interactive breakout sessions and dynamic conversations as part of mainstage programming as well as breakout session tracks. Available tracks during the Economic Summit include: • Small Business Track: These interactive breakout sessions will feature speakers that will discuss the many opportunities available to small businesses regarding access to federal contracting, business capital, counseling and education. • Community Track: These dynamic breakout sessions will include a panel discussion that focuses on how collaboration across sectors and communities has been an essential and powerful tool to advance equity, justice and opportunity for AA and NHPI communities. This track will also feature a community-driven listening session with members of the President’s Advisory Commission on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders.
