East Side Community Investment Co-Op (ESCIC)

What is This About?

The project has a new name! The East Side Community Investment Cooperative is a new project stemming from the values of anti-displacement, neighborhood self-determination, local ownership, equity, and keeping affordable rental possible for both businesses and residents.

This initiative is meant to be a project in small-scale democracy, allowing individual residents to have an impact in their neighborhood the same way developers and investors can. We're hosting Community Events that can be found on the ESABA calendar here and launching a member drive soon.

Mission:

To work to secure sites for community preservation and growth with an emphasis on local democratic input and control.

Vision:

We want the community to have a say in what gets developed in our neighborhood!
