Public Safety Listening Sessions - SPACC
This is our chance to chime in about issues of safety and crime on the East Side and talk about business leader's ideas for what is needed now. SPACC is hosting these two meetings for the East Side. Let's not miss our chance to speak up!
Public Safety is the top 2022 advocacy priority for SPACC. In order to inform our work, we are inviting all businesses with a physical presence in St. Paul to participate in listening sessions to share their experiences, concerns and ideas.
These meetings are business/employer focused. (In this case, business/employer = for-profit, non-profit, company, LLC, etc.)
Meeting attendees do not need to be Chamber members to participate in these meetings, but we would ask that participants be authorized to speak on behalf of their business/organization.
Any public release of information will only be in aggregate, and comments will not be attributed to individual persons or businesses.
We ask all meeting participants to respect others' desire for privacy and the need to speak honestly and candidly about their experiences.
Meetings are being organized geographically, because often businesses in the same area will have similar experiences, so we highly encourage businesses to attend the meeting that aligns with their physical location. However, we know that one meeting time won't work for everybody, so we are allowing people to attend a different time if that's what they need to participate.
We are using city ward numbers for ease of geographic organization only. Listening sessions are hosted by the St. Paul Area Chamber and are not affiliated with the City of St. Paul or individual councilmembers.
