The URMI 2023 Conference on "Youth Justice: Changing the Narrative" will examine the specific challenges faced by youth in the criminal legal system or at risk of involvement in it. Topics will include: • the school-to-prison pipeline • the prosecution of youth as adults • historical and personal trauma • and much more. As well as options for response such as: • community prevention • restorative practices • alternatives to incarceration • mentorship.
