WaterFest is a free, family festival with fun outdoor activities and hands-on learning about local watershed topics. It will be held on Saturday, June 1, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Phalen Regional Park's Picnic Pavilion in Saint Paul. Visitors can experience Voyager canoe, sailboat, dragonboat or kayak rides, a fishing contest, KidsDance DJs with breakdancers, interactive educational activities, a bounce house,puppet show, our Passport Odyssey with prizes, and many more opportunities to celebrate our local waters. Food trucks are available for those who get hungry. The annual festival is presented by Ramsey-Washington Metro Watershed District, which has restored more than 100 native plant species along large areas of Lake Phalen shoreline.
