12th Annual Back to School Event

As the Family Values For Life Back to School event nears, we still need your help.  There are a few ways to chip in and the great news is, you are not limited to just one thing.  You can help in as many ways as your heart and hands desire.  See the areas below.  We invite you to peruse each of them and jump right in.

Donate School Supplies - Click here

If providing school supplies to kids in need is for you.  Scan the QR code above or click the link and select from the list of supplies. We've set it up to make shopping most conventient. Whatever you select and purchase will be shipped directly to us and packed on the days listed below.

Volunteer on Sorting Days - Aug 8-10

Help us sort and pack backpacks and clothing on August 8 - 10th at First Covenant Church 1280 Arcade St. Saint Paul, MN 55106. Two shifts for each day will be available. Snacks will be provided each day. Please dress comfortably. 

Shift A: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Shift B: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Day of the Event Volunteering - Aug 24

Join us Wednesday, August 24th from 4:30pm - 7:30pm at First Covenant Church of St. Paul. Together, we will provide nearly 1,500 families with backpacks filled with school supplies, also offer clothing, produce, family fun activities, and community resources. 

Sign up to volunteer at the 12th annual Back To School Event. This event will be August 24, 2021 from 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM at First Covenant Church of St. Paul 1280 Arcade St. Saint Paul, MN 55106. 

Volunteer in areas like Registration, Clothing, Backpacks, Produce, Food, Family Fun Activities, Crowd Control, Traffic Control, Setup, Clean up, Floater/ Runner and more!

Shift A  9:00 AM - 12:00 PM   (Set Up I)
Shift B  12:00 PM - 3:00 PM   (Setup II)
Shift C  3:30 PM -  7:30 PM    (Event)
Shift D  7:00 PM -  9:00 PM    (Clean Up)

Also attend the Back To School Volunteer Training & Walk through on 
August 17, 2021 from 5:00 - 6:30 PM to get more information and training for your area. This training will take place at First Covenant Church, 1280 Arcade St., St. Paul, MN 55106.

Table with your organization at the event - Aug 24

Sign Up for a Community Resource Table 
This is where you come in! We are inviting you to table and share valuable resources and information with the families in attendance. As in past years, we are asking participating organizations to donate at least $50 and or two filled  backpacks of school supplies to ensure we have enough for the students attending the event. Drop off day will be Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Family Values For Life office 1280 Arcade St. Saint Paul. 
 
If you are unable to be present for  this event but still would like to participate you are welcome to participate by sending a donation either through our website at www.FVFLMN.org or by mail to Family Values For Life 1280 Arcade St. Saint Paul, MN 55106. You can also donate by dropping off backpacks or school supplies. 
 
Please kindly fill out the form below before Monday, August 4, 2022. We hope to have all organizations solidified no later than Friday, August 5th.
