What do you know about franchise fees and their impact on your overall bill and how we pay for our power? Monopoly power company Xcel Energy has negotiated a deal with the Mayor's office to change the way we pay for power. And it will be through franchise fees instead of through percentage of use.
This site is under construction because I don't fully understand this. The Mayor didn't discuss it with the business community broadly so we're playing catch-up.
